The Villanova Wildcats will end their regular season by hosting the UConn Huskies at the Wells Wargo Center on Saturday. The Wildcats are on a three-game winning streak, while their opponents are looking for their fifth win in a row.

Ky McKeon believes that the Huskies are playing their best basketball at the moment. Here's what he said on the "Field of 68" podcast:

"They [UConn] are in 'F U' mode, that's the way they are playing right now," McKeon said. "I think this team is playing pretty much at their top gear."

McKeon also referred to the first game between the two teams, but said that he doesn't think the Wildcats could win on Saturday.

UConn Huskies will conclude their regular season against the Villanova Wildcats

The UConn Huskies are coming off a huge victory over the DePaul Blue Demons. They had a 51-19 lead in the first half of the game and ended up winning it by 29 points.

The Wildcats, on the other hand, won their last game by only four points. Despite being on a three-game win streak, only the victory against the Creighton Bluejays was convincing. The other two games could have easily gone the other way.

While the UConn Huskies are favored to win their last game of the season, beating the Wildcats will still be a tough challenge. The Wildcats are much better than their record shows as they are no longer dealing with major injury issues.

UConn has not lost a season finale since 2018 and will make sure to keep this win streak going. While the Huskies can improve their overall NCAA seeding, they will most likely finish fifth in the Big East Conference. The Wildcats are one spot below them.
