Fans reacted as LeBron James arrived at Team USA Men's National Team's training camp in Las Vegas on Saturday. He was eagerly greeted by his co-hort of team USA stars including Kevin Durant, Steph Curry, Joel Embiid, Devin Booker and Bam Adebayo.

'King' James last played for Team USA in the 2012 London Olympics, where a star-studded roster, including Kobe Bryant and Carmelo Anthony, went 8-0 and won the gold medal. Some fans are predicting even greater things from the current lot of stars.

LeBron James is one of USA's most successful players. He has played 68 games and accumulated 979 points (14.4 ppg), 281 rebounds (4.1 rpg), 238 assists (3.5 apg) and 111 steals (1.6 spg).
LeBron James' role for Team USA in 2024 Olympics
James is the oldest member of Team USA's galaxy of stars, so there was some speculation of a bench role for the 'King'. These rumors were swiftly debunked, though, and he's likely to start as a point forward, with Steph Curry shouldering more responsibility off the ball.

It presents an ideal scenario for Team USA and their stars who are extremely capable shooters. With the addition of Joel Embiid, Team USA are favored heavily to defend the gold medal they won in Tokyo in 2021.
Team USA will start their pursuit for the gold again when they face Canada on Wednesday.
