LeBron James and the LA Lakers have been nothing but disappointing this season, and it has started to take a toll on the star. During a postgame interview following their loss to the Miami Heat, James shared some cryptic moments that hinted at a jab at the front office.

NBA reporter Ohm Youngmisuk broke down the cryptic comments that James made in his recent interview. According to Youngmisuk, there's a hint at what the Lakers' front office should do to help him and the team start getting more wins.

"Normally, it's just this passive-aggressive like, 'What is he talking about? [It's like a] hidden message.' And now I think the frustration's starting to get to him," Youngmisuk said.
"Maybe he'll actually be naming Rob Pelinka by name."

"He talked about the roster [Sacramento Kings] construction, it was construed to like, he was talking about the Lakers. This is what he wants to see with the Lakers. So, hopefully we might see in the next couple of weeks. LeBron might actually just be like, 'I need you guys to make a trade, I need you guys to start going out there and getting me some help.' Because I think it might actually reach that point."

In their most recent game, the Lakers lost to the Heat with a score of 112-98. James carried his team once again with 27 points, nine rebounds and six assists. But that wasn't enough for them to win the game. Following their bout, James shared some interesting takes on how their season has been going.

"I don't want to finish my career playing at this level, from a team aspect," James said.

Should the Lakers trade LeBron James?

LeBron James is in the twilight years of his career, but he's shown that he can still contribute at an all-time level. His 20th season has been incredible so far as he closes in on breaking the scoring record of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. However, the team hasn't been able to keep up with James.

The Lakers are currently one of the worst teams in the Western Conference with a record of 14-21. The team is trying to be a contender with James on the roster, but it's difficult to do so if they don't give him the proper pieces. One option the front office should start exploring is trading King James over the summer.

The return for him should be big, as he's still able to play at an elite level. However, a team that could potentially trade for him would change their path. Having James on the roster automatically makes any team a contender. There shouldn't be any hesitation in trying and pursuing him if LA decides to trade him.
