Before he stepped on an NBA court, Bronny James was already well-known by the NBA community. With fame following the young guard, Sotheby's revealed his Summer League debut jersey is up for auction. The item is priced at $7k, which garnered numerous reactions from sports fans.
In this year's draft, the Lakers selected LeBron's eldest son 55th overall. However, Bronny's offensive struggles were displayed during his NBA Summer League debut. Given his mediocre college stats, many claim nepotism is the only reason Los Angeles drafted the younger James.
Following user Legion Hoops' X post concerning the auction bid, fans sounded off in the comments section.

LeBron James receives hilarious joke from Lakers teammate regarding Bronny James
During a live segment of HBO's The Shop: Uninterrupted on Aug. 29, LeBron James revealed he received a hilarious phone call from teammate Anthony Davis about his son.
"AD Facetimed me like, 'I don't want to talk to you. I want to talk to my old teammate."
Excitement surrounds Bronny James and his father competing together. The pair can make NBA history by becoming the first father-and-son tandem to play on the same roster.
Aside from that anticipation, the rookie's name is associated with added pressure. His father is arguably the greatest basketball of all time. LBJ also made an instant impact as an 18-year-old Cavs phenom.
