Tyrese Haliburton guided the Indiana Pacers to a 2-1 NBA finals series lead on Wednesday against the OKC Thunder, with Caitlin Clark in attendance. The Indiana Fever superstar has now watched the Pacers go 8-0 when she's present during the NBA playoffs.
In Wednesday's clash, there was another coincidence as Haliburton dropped a series-high 22 points, which also happens to be Clark's jersey number. The All-Star guard led the Pacers to a 116-107 win, bringing Indiana to within two wins of its first NBA championship. He shot 52.9%, including four 3s. Haliburton added nine rebounds and 11 assists, nearly recording a triple-double in his first finals trip.
After his spectacular effort, Pacers fans exploded online, pointing out the Clark factor. Here are some of the reactions:

Tyrese Haliburton on Pacers fans
Tyrese Haliburton is locked in to deliver the Pacers fanbase a lot to cheer for over the next two games as Indiana inched closer to its first-ever championship. Haliburton appreciated the love the players got from the home crowd in Wednesday's contest, especially with multiple Pacers alumni also showing out. Reggie Miller and Mark Jackson were among those, while super fans like Pat McAfee were also present. Here's what Haliburton said about the support:
"I was like 3 months old last time [Pacers] made the Finals. Our fans are hungry man, they wanna watch winning basketball. They want to be a part of it. I think is a group every year we're taking a jump. We're here now, don't want to take this time for granted ... Just giving our fans something to be proud of, trying to play the right way.
"It's really cool to see alumni come back, guys like Reggie [Miller, Mark Jackson was in the building today. Even Pat [McAfee], [Edgerrin] James and all those guys, that's super cool to see."
If the Pacers win the finals, it would be one of the greatest underdog stories in recent memory. Indiana wasn't fancied as a favorite, but playing the right way and building one of the most well-balanced teams has propelled it into an Eastern Conference powerhouse.
