The Indiana Pacers have made a key decision regarding star point guard Tyrese Haliburton ahead of Game 3 of the NBA Finals against the OKC Thunder on Wednesday. Concerns about Haliburton’s status surfaced after a video of him limping out of the press room following the Game 2 loss went viral on social media.

Despite the visible discomfort, the Pacers have not listed Haliburton on the injury report for Game 3 and the Paris Olympic gold medalist is expected to suit up for the pivotal matchup. Speaking to the media on Tuesday, the 6-foot-5 guard acknowledged that he’s been dealing with lower leg discomfort.

Haliburton was a full participant in the team’s practice the day before Game 3 and videos circulating online showed him moving comfortably on the court. While he declined to go into further detail about the injury, Haliburton confirmed he will play through the lingering discomfort.

"I'm fine – really just a lower leg thing," Haliburton said. "I'll leave it at that. I don't think there's anything more to elaborate. I feel fine and I'll be ready to go for Game 3."

Tyrese Haliburton played 34 minutes in Game 2 and finished with 17 points on 7 of 13 shooting, including 3 of 8 from beyond the arc. He also recorded three rebounds, six assists, two steals and two blocks as the Pacers suffered a 123-107 loss on the road.
