LeBron James praised both Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese in the past

The NBA icon gave his flowers to the Indiana Fever guard after another game-winning performance. Caitlin Clark had a career-high 31 points and 12 assists against Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky on Friday. The Fever won the season series 3-1 after winning the fourth game 100-81.

Fans might have gone down the rabbit hole to create a reason why he went against Reese, but he's praised her in the past as well. He made a post about her in 2023 after she helped lead LSU to a national championship.

With her career-high outing, Clark adds another impressive outing to her growing résumé. In just her first season in the WNBA, she's managed to etch her name in the history books on multiple occasions. Along with being the first rookie to record a triple-double, Clark also holds the single-game record for assists with 19.

As for Reese, she's also managed to make history as a rookie. Earlier this month, she became the first woman in league history to have three straight games of 20 or more rebounds. On top of that, the Sky forward broke the record for most double-doubles in a season by a rookie (23 and counting).
