Reed Sheppard was yet to make an impact for the Houston Rockets as they trailed the Minnesota Timberwolves at Toyota Center on Friday. The rookie had played just over four minutes and just had one turnover as the Rockets' bench looked to make some meaningful contributions.
Sheppard was -6 in the meantime and was yet to attempt a shot from the field or the deep. Houston was led by Alperen Sengun's 18 points and nine rebounds. As for the T-Wolves, Anthony Edwards and Julius Randle led the scoring charts with 17 and 13 points, respectively.
Reed Sheppard came into the contest as the No. 3 pick of the 2024 draft class, averaging 3.6 points, 1.4 rebounds and 1.3 assists.
