Reports: Shocking details about Bryn Forbes assaulting ex-adult film star girlfriend Elsa Jean emerge, including giving her "2 black eyes"

Former Minnesota Timberwolves guard Bryn Forbes was arrested early Wednesday after allegedly assaulting his fiancee, Elsa Jean, an ex-adult film star. According to reports, the two were involved in a verbal argument Wednesday morning that ultimately turned physical.

The two had been living together for the past year, however, in the wake of the assault, the engagement has been called off. While Jean decides whether or not she wants to press charges, a source spoke to Daily Mail to detail the injuries Forbes inflicted:

"This was the first time he ever abused her, but once was enough. Her entire body is bruised up and she has two black eyes. He hit her so many times and it was so terrifying for her."

According to the source, Forbes allegedly felt threatened by Jean's success as an OnlyFans creator and podcast host in the wake of her post-porn career.

Interestingly enough, the pair met thanks to Kylie Jenner's former best friend, Jodyn Woods, who is currently dating Karl Anthony-Towns from the Timberwolves. Woods introduced the former teammate of her boyfriend to Jean, sparking the relationship.

The decline of Bryn Forbes leading up to being waived

For Bryn Forbes, the latest news is likely to significantly hinder his hopes of getting back in the NBA after being waived by the Minnesota Timberwolves. After going undrafted in 2016, he was signed to the San Antonio Spurs, where he spent the first four years of his career.

His time in San Antonio was considered a success by most. After averaging just 2.6ppg in 7.9 minutes averaged in his rookie year, Forbes made strides in his sophomore and junior years in the NBA, averaging a career-high 11.8ppg in 2018-19.

By the time he left San Antonio, he was one of three men in franchise history to score over 1,000 points and make 150 three-pointers in their first 150 games with the team. In addition, he remains one of only three men to make 250 career three-pointers with the team, and is the only one to have done so in just three seasons.

After leaving San Antonio, he signed with the Milwaukee Bucks, where he won an NBA championship during the 2020-21 season. Since then, however, Forbes has bounced around the league. He split time between San Antonio and Denver during the 2021-22 season, before then landing in Minnesota.

He appeared in just 25 games for the Timberwolves before being waived while averaging just 3.6ppg in 10.7 minutes averaged per game. With the latest news, Forbes could have an uphill battle if he wants to return to the league.
