Shannon Sharpe gives props to Bronny James for McDonald’s All-American performance

On Tuesday night, Bronny James competed in the McDonald's All-American game. Alongside fellow top prospects in the high school circuit, the son of NBA star LeBron James made sure to stand out.

During his time on the court, Bronny James lit it up from beyond the arc. He scored 15 points in the game, with all of them coming on three-point shots. In total, Bronny shot 5-for-8 from deep. This barrage of long-range shots had his dad hype sitting courtside.

Following this performance, one national analyst made sure to give Bronny credit for his performance. While on FS1's "Undisputed," Shannon Sharpe gave the young guard credit for his development over the years.

"Last night he showed that he belongs among the best.

"Growing up as Jr. to LeBron James, I guess he's been in the spotlight his entire life. He hadn't shied away from it. He had a great showing for that name last night."

As of now, Bronny has not made a decision on what he plans to do next year. Multiple colleges are still trying to recruit him, but there is always the chance he will opt to play professionally overseas before joining the NBA ranks.

If he does go the college route, Bronny will still have a chance to secure a big payday. Reports recently emerged that he could earn over $7.2 million in NIL deals.

Bronny James puts on a show in dunk contest

Along with partaking in the game, Bronny James showed out in another way as well. Despite being an undersized guard, he put on a show during the dunk contest. For his first attempt, Bronny threw down a windmill dunk that had the entire crowd hype.

Later on, he decided to get his brother in the mix. In another effort to show off his unreal athleticism, Bronny jumped over his younger brother Bryce for a dunk.

One person who likely enjoyed the night in a big way is LeBron James. The LA Lakers star has been open about playing with his sons, and is getting closer to achieving that dream. Also, Bronny's outing came on the 20-year anniversary of when he competed as a McDonald's All-American.

With Bronny showing out on a big stage like this, he cements himself as an NBA prospect. However, he still has one more year to go before he can enter the draft and possibly play alongside his father at the highest level.
