The Boston Celtics are in the fourth game of their West Coast trip as they play the Lakers tonight. Tonight will be the Celtics' second game in Los Angeles after losing to the Clippers, 113-93. LeBron James led the Lakers as they await Boston and are looking to get their win streak started after defeating the Pistons 124-117 in their last game.

On FS1’s “Undisputed” hosts Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe discussed the upcoming match-up. Sharpe set his expectations for the game. He feels that LeBron James and Anthony Davis are going to perform.

“I’m expecting AD to do AD-type things, I'm expecting Bron to do Bron-type things” - Shannon Sharpe

Shannon Sharpe expects the Celtics to play well this evening. He brought how well the Pistons played offensively against the Lakers and expects the Celtics to get back on track against Los Angeles

"The likelihood of the Celtics playing 3 bad games isn't very good. They're going to have blood in their eyes." - Sharpe

The Celtics are coming off back-to-back losses, something that they have only had happen one other time this season. Boston has yet to lose three games in a row this year. They have looked like the best team in the league. Jayson Tatum has made a case for himself to be an MVP candidate, while Jaylen Brown has showed that is a still a capable star next to him.

LeBron James vs. The Boston Celtics

The Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics are among the most storied rivalries in professional sports. The two organizations account for a large portion of all of the NBA championships that have been won. A new element that is part of that rivalry right now is LeBron James.

James has had run-ins with the Celtics ever since his first run with the Cleveland Cavaliers. He was unable to get past the Boston teams led by Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, and Kevin Garnett. The Celtics knocked James out of the playoffs in 2008 and 2010. The Eastern Conference Semifinals of 2008 went to a game 7, where the Celtics won 97-92. James outdueled Paul Pierce 45-41, but it wasn’t enough to get his team over.

LeBron would eventually overcome the Celtics when he became a member of the Miami Heat and defeated them in the 2011 and 2012 playoffs. After leaving Miami, he would go back to Cleveland and face the Boston Celtics, something we are more familiar with today. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown were unable to overcome James in the playoffs and advance to the NBA Finals. In 2017 and 2018, LeBron led the Cavaliers in denying the Boston Celtics in the conference finals.

Tonight, James will get to face off against the Boston Celtics another time before he retires.
