LA Lakers superstar LeBron James has officially surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the NBA's all-time scoring record. But Skip Bayless still isn't willing to consider LeBron the "GOAT" over Michael Jordan.

Appearing on Undisputed, Bayless praised LeBron James for his record-breaking performance. However, the analyst stressed that James' accomplishment still didn't put him over Michael Jordan as the greatest NBA player of all time.

"I take nothing away from what LeBron just accomplished, but if we switch gears to GOAT, it ain't even close."

Tuesday night was incredible for the basketball world as fans watched LeBron make NBA history. It was a record that Kareem Abdul-Jabbar had held since 1989. James will now look to continue to raise the ceiling when it comes to the new record.

The record has been one of the most impressive career accomplishments in all of sports. It was viewed as one that many believed would never be touched. Now, it looks as if James will have the potential to make the accomplishment even more challenging for future players.

LeBron James has continued to add to his impressive resume of accomplishments throughout his illustrious career. But Tuesday night featured one of his most astonishing achievements in his basketball journey.

It's been a story that has had the attention of the basketball world since last year. Fans and analysts had been counting down the days until James could theoretically break the all-time record.

James finished this historic performance with 38 points, seven rebounds, three assists and three steals. But his team came up short against the Oklahoma City Thunder, losing by a final score of 133-130.

With the record now behind him, LeBron and the LA Lakers will focus on getting back above .500. The Lakers currently find themselves at 25-30 on the year and are hoping to make a run in the Western Conference toward a spot in the NBA playoffs.
