Steph Curry fan and Lakers #41 Quincy Olivari flexes fresh kicks addition from Warriors star's signature line

LA Lakers rookie and two-way player Quincy Olivari showed off his new pair of sneakers on social media. Olivari is a huge fan of Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry. The rookie played against his idol in the 2024 NBA preseason, wherein he had an emotional moment with Curry when the Warriors star praised his game.

Later on, Curry gifted Olivari with a bunch of his signature Under Armour shoes. The Lakers rookie was thrilled to receive them and showed his appreciation by thanking his idol and the shoe company on his Instagram stories. Fast-forward to the present day, it appears that Olivari received another pair of Currys to add to his collection.

The rookie guard posted a photo of the pair of limited edition Curry 11s on his story. This particular pair is a collaboration between Under Armour and Tuff Crowd. It is a limited-edition pair and some online resellers are selling the special pair for around $500 to $600.

Quincy Olivari gets emotional after meeting Steph Curry

In October, Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry made a sweet gesture to one of his biggest fans, who is currently playing in the NBA. LA Lakers rookie Quincy Olivari made it public during the 2024 NBA preseason that he was a huge fan of Curry growing up.

After getting to play against his idol in one of their preseason games, Olivari shared what Curry told him after the game.

"It's crazy 'cause I liked (Steph Curry) since I was in sixth grade," Olivari said in the press conference. "I don't even know what to say man. (Curry) is my favorite player ever. First thing he told me was that, 'I'm a big fan of your game.' Truth be told I'm a big fan of him."

A week later after the emotional press conference, Curry surprised the Lakers rookie with a collection of his signature Under Armour shoes. Before sending the stack of sneaker boxes, the Warriors star reacted to Quincy Olivari's appreciation post on Instagram. Steph commented:

"Pleasure bro. Appreciate you being a real one and letting me know the history!!"
