Steph Curry after Golden State Warriors’ emphatic win over Washington Wizards: “It’s the balance between the free flow & chaotic offense”

Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors came up with a massive win against the Washington Wizards on Monday night. After his previous game against the Chicago Bulls, where he committed eight turnovers, Curry managed to control the ball better and lead his team to a relevant win.

After the game against the Wizards, Curry shared essential details on how they were able to win. Being able to take better care of the ball is a notable difference from their previous outing.

"The way we play. People hear us say it all the time, it's a balance between the free flow and kind of chaotic offense and taking some chances. You're gonna have some turnovers, but it's the type of turnovers and then obviously you can't have ones like last night. Where everytime we try and get over the hump either.

"I was traveling or throwing it to the other team. Turnovers are killing out momentum. I had a few tonight, but less. The right type of turnovers and we got great shots pretty much the whole game. That's our formula, with our style of play."

Curry's performance in his previous game wasn't memorable. He only scored 20 points and shot 30% from long distance. The Warriors couldn't stop the Bulls that night when Nikola Vucevic erupted for 43 points and 13 rebounds. Despite Golden State's efforts, it wasn't enough.

Luckily for the Warriors, Steph was able to bounce back from his disappointing game. Against the Wizards, the two-time MVP scored 41 points and made six of his 15 shots from the three-point arc. Unlike his eight turnovers against Chicago, Curry only had four in Monday's bout against Washington; not overly impressive, but a vast difference from their last game.

With Steph Curry back in the lineup, can the Warriors start getting more wins?

After missing 11 games due to a left shoulder injury, Steph Curry is finally healthy and back to being an effective star player for the Warriors.

The team hasn't been impressive without their star point guard this season. They had a 6-5 record with Curry on the sidelines, which was impressive but not enough to move the needle.

It looks like the team will rely heavily on Steph's production on the floor. After all, he is their captain and the franchise star. However, that could end up badly. Relying too much on their eight-time All-Star could significantly affect his health. If that happens, he might get injured again and cost them their chances at defending their title in the playoffs.

But a significant aspect of his return could mean that the Warriors might start to rack up some wins again. They're currently 22-22 in the Western Conference. Others have to start stepping up to help their stars lead them back into contention again.
