Steph Curry's sister Sydel Curry Lee makes major pregnancy announcement - "Newest little miracle"

Steph Curry's sister, Sydel Curry Lee, and Phoenix Suns guard Damion Lee are expecting their third child. She made the announcement in a touching Instagram post, where she highlighted the special significance of it.

The video post has their eldest child, Daxon Wardell-Xavier, approaching their Christmas tree at home and placing a trinket that has "Baby Lee #3" written on it. The camera then pans to them as a family, showing Sydel with her baby bump.

In her caption to the post, Sydel Curry Lee expressed her gratitude for the latest blessing to their family, which is due in May next year, writing:

"Thankful to say the least! We are so excited to announce our newest little miracle that we never could have imagined. After experiencing the miracle of IVF we are now living in the miracle of natural conception due May 2025. Thank you Lord! #LeeForThree #babynumber3"

Sydel Curry Lee and Damion Lee got married in 2018, but their journey to parenthood took longer than expected and saw them go through In vitro fertilization.

Her dream of becoming a mother finally became a reality when Daxon was born on Nov. 26, 2021. Then two years later, daughter Daryn Alicia was born. She said being a mother has its fair share of challenges, but something she wholeheartedly embraces.

Sydel Curry Lee grateful to sister-in-law Ayesha Curry for her parenting advice

Apart from her husband, Sydel Curry Lee is also accompanied in her parenthood journey by her sister-in-law Ayesha Curry, who, she said, is always there to give parenting advice.

In an interview with Essence in 2021, Sydel revealed that the wife of Golden State Warriors superstar is drawing from her own experiences to guide her in her own journey. Sydel Curry Lee said:

"One thing about Ayesha is that she is willing to use her past experiences to tell me what she would do differently, and one thing that she keeps telling me is to trust my instincts and to not feel pressured into doing certain things in a certain way."

Ayesha and Steph Curry got married in 2011 and have four children together. The eldest is daughter Riley, 12, followed by daughter Ryan, 9, and son Canon, 6. Their youngest is son Caius, who was born in May, and was with the family in Paris when Curry won his first-ever Olympic gold medal with Team USA in the summer.
