The Cavaliers shocked the Warriors in the opening quarter with a flurry of baskets, easily securing a commanding lead. Cleveland finished the first half with a 41-point lead, showing the world why they’re undefeated this season.
Steph Curry was shut down by the Cavs as he was held down to 12 points and 25% accuracy from beyond the arc. Buddy Hield, who has proven to be a great fit for the Warriors squad, also barely did anything on the hardwood on Friday. He held down to three points and only made one basket the entire night.
Jonathan Kuminga had a great game, putting up 21 points, six rebounds, and five assists. However, given how his teammates were denied of catching their rhythm, his efforts alone weren’t enough to stop the undefeated Cavaliers squad.
