"The best duo in this league"- NBA fans rejoice as Jordan Poole and Steph Curry put on a clinic in comeback win over the Thunder

Oklahoma City Thunder v Golden State Warriors
Steph Curry and Jordan Poole celebrate a play

The Golden State Warriors duo of Steph Curry and Jordan Poole truly put on a show for the home crowd on Tuesday night. With the two combining for over 60+ to lead the team to a win, fans were overjoyed by the display.

The Warriors came away with a crucial win in their final game at home. Facing off against the OKC Thunder, the Dubs managed to successfully mount a comeback to finish the game with a 136-125 scoreline.

Golden State were slightly undermanned as Klay Thompson was listed out for the game. However, Jordan Poole and Steph Curry stepped up in his absence and delivered an offensive masterclass against the young Thunder squad.

Curry racked up a game-high 34 points with six assists. Meanwhile, Poole joined Curry in dissecting OKC's defense by contributing 30 points of his own.

The duo's impressive performance saw the Warriors climb up to fifth in the West. With fans also taking note of Steph and Poole's performance, we took a look at some of the reactions to their display on Twitter. Here are some of the best ones:

Considering that the Warriors were down by 10 at one point in the second-quarter, the Dubs managed to turn up their output significantly. After an absolute onslaught in the fourth-quarter, Golden State even extended their lead to 15 points late in the fourth.

With Warriors forward Andrew Wiggins in attendance after a long period of absence, the Dubs certainly played with some fire. With a two-game road trip coming up, the Warriors definitely needed this win.

Steph Curry's leadership will be tested in the last two games

The Golden State Warriors are in a solid position to make the playoffs at the moment. However, they aren't exactly in the clear just yet. With two away games left in the season, the Dubs have every reason to feel threatened.

Although the Warriors are fifth in the West, their 9-30 road record doesn't inspire any confidence in the games ahead. While also considering the small margins separating them and the LA teams in sixth and seventh place, the Dubs have to win both games to secure a playoff berth.

Given the circumstances, the Warriors will look to Steph Curry as their leader. Curry's performance will be crucial in dictating the overall tempo of the Warriors on the road.

With Klay Thompson potentially being available for the next game, the Dubs may have some more reinforcements. However, their defensive lapses will need to be addressed immediately if they hope to secure a win on the road.
