The trade offers for Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo could soon start to swarm. While there's no clear indication about Antetokounmpo's future, there have been trade speculations once he asks out of Milwaukee and one team that is linked to the "Greek Freak" is the New York Knicks.

The Knicks have just finished a wonderful playoff run - 4-2 wins against Detroit Pistons (first round) and the Boston Celtics (semifinals) - to reach their first Eastern Conference finals in 25 years. However, they came up short against the Indiana Pacers and lost in six games (4-2 series defeat).

With a bright future ahead, some believe New York is one star player away from being actual title contenders. Veteran sportswriter Gery Woelfel revealed that the Knicks are rumored to make a "tsunami-type offer" to acquire the nine-time All-Star.

Additionally, Woelfel reported that the New York team is interested in hiring Jason Kidd to be their next head coach, after they fired Tom Thibodeau following the postseason elimination.

There could be a potential reunion with Antetokounmpo and Kidd. The current Dallas Mavericks coach was with the Bucks during the earlier parts of the nine-time All-NBA forward.

The Knicks, the Toronto Raptors, the Miami Heat and the San Antonio Spurs were mentioned. These are also the organizations with whom Antetokounmpo is willing to sign a contract extension. Davis reported that the one-time finals MVP isn't interested in inking an extension with other organizations. If he's traded to a team that he wasn't part of his preferred destination, the insider said the Bucks star will eye the 2027 free agency.

With consecutive postseason disappointments, the Bucks are ready to move on from Giannis Antetokounmpo and start anew. Given his accolades, teams could offer Milwaukee massive deals for a generational talent.
