It's the Halloween Season, which means it's time to get spooky and either get tricked or treated. The NBA is known for having players who wear either the weirdest or most stylish outfits ever seen. With that in mind, we've also witnessed some stars who've put on some frightfully good Halloween costumes in the past. That said, here are some of the best costumes worn by NBA superstars.

Best Halloween Costumes worn in the NBA

#1 LeBron James (Freddy Krueger)

LeBron James dressed up as Freddy Krueger for Halloween last year. If we were to rate his costume, we'd say that it's a perfect ten. The application of makeup on James' face was superb. The burned skin looks realistic, and he could easily scare off little children if he wanted to.

James and Krueger's claws may not be exactly the same, but they look almost identical. King James even went as far as putting on false teeth to resemble Freddy's nasty smile. His beard isn't necessarily part of the costume, but we think it's a nice touch as it adds more character to the costume.

#2 Steph Curry (Jigsaw)

Back in 2017, Steph Curry showed up at the Oracle arena dressed as Jigsaw. It was a creepy yet hilarious arrival for Curry. He came from the parking lot riding a kids' trike while wearing the costume. Draymond Green was waiting by the entrance to greet him, and he didn't know how to react to the two-time NBA MVP's outfit. All Green could do was smile and laugh in the end as they entered the arena.

Even the people behind the scenes found Steph Curry's arrival funny and took pictures of the Warriors star. Honestly, who wouldn't laugh at the way Curry arrived? Imagine seeing a grown man riding a kid's trike dressed as a clown. Some may find it creepy, but if you know who's underneath the mask, you can't help but, at least, chuckle.

#3 Carmelo Anthony (Front Man)

Halloween isn't always about dressing up as spooky characters. Everyone is free to dress as whoever they want. Carmelo Anthony is one of those who did away with the traditional practice in the NBA. Anthony wore an almost exact replica of the Front Man's outfit from the thriller K-drama series "Squid Game." It's a really simple costume to pull off, but it's definitely one of the best-looking ones out there.

#4 JaVale McGee (Pink Soldier)

Another "Squid Game" entry on this list comes when JaVale McGee portrayed one of the Pink Soldiers from the show last Halloween. The pink jumpsuit he wore looked exactly the same as the one in the show. The NBA big man had just a slightly different variation of the gloves, and the mask was just a bit small on him. Overall, he was able to pull off the outfit.

#5 Klay Thompson (Larry Bird)

The Splash Brothers really know how take away the spookiness in Halloween. Just last year, Klay Thompson dressed up as Larry Bird, who is one of his idols, and started mimicking the way the legend played in the video. What made the short clip funny was when he added a little too much sauce on Bird's supposed handles before making the 3-point shot.
