LeBron James had a proud parenting moment recently when his son Bryce James played in his first varsity game. The youngest of the two James brothers is currently a high schooler in Sierra Canyon and is already looking like an absolute monster for his age.

In attendance was none other than LeBron James Sr., who had an off night while the Lakers prepared for their Friday night showdown with the Detroit Pistons. James pulled up to his youngest son's game, where Bryce put on a show in his first varsity appearance.

Unsurprisingly, highlights from the teenager's debut quickly began to make the rounds on Twitter as fans and analysts reacted to the footage.

Bryce's first varsity appearance comes on the heels of the budding young star receiving his first D1 college offer this summer. The offer came from Duquense Basketball, and although they were the first school to offer James a deal, they certainly won't be the last.

Check out some highlights from Bryce's varsity debut in the videos below.

Bryce James' career so far

While growing up in Ohio, Bryce James got an early jump on training. With his father and older brother to guide him, he began playing at a young age. After playing for several AAU travel teams, he ultimately wound up transferring to Sierra Canyon when his dad signed with the LA Lakers.

There he watched as his older brother Bronny stepped into the spotlight and began his evolution from high school prospect to NBA hopeful. With Bronny already signing a deal with Nike and receiving quite a bit of interest from NBA teams, Bryce has a path to follow.

It's no secret that LeBron James wants to play with both of his sons before retiring. The NBA great has continued to maintain that he wants to play with Bronny James first and then Bryce next.

By the looks of things, everything LeBron is doing right now seems to be with the goal of playing alongside his two sons. This past offseason, James signed a two-year extension with the LA Lakers. The deal would see him contracted until the time Bronny makes his debut, giving him the perfect opportunity to sign elsewhere to play alongside his son.

After that is where things start to get a little more complicated. LeBron James has made it known that he wants to own an NBA franchise. That would, of course, require him to retire from the league. Although the NBA has maintained that they have no imminent plans for an expansion, when the CBA expires an expansion could follow.

If the league does opt to expand and add two more teams, James could be forced to decide between owning a franchise or playing with Bryce. Only time will tell which route the future NBA Hall of Famer decides to take.
