LeBron James and his son, Bronny James, in a collaboration with Nike, dropped a hilarious commercial on Tuesday. Hours before the LA Lakers hosted the Minnesota Timberwolves in the NBA’s season opener, LeBron and Bronny had combined to hype up their historic partnership.
The video clip showed the four-time MVP LeBron filling the youngster’s car with cereal, a prank veterans usually do to rookies. “King James” told Bronny not “to be late” before adding that his eldest son had to clean the driveway, as it was “a mess.” The former Trojan responded by telling his father that he was “too old” for pranks.
Bronny James, who signed a four-year, $7.8 million contract with the Lakers in the offseason, said after the game:

“Thank God that wasn’t my car.”
LeBron James commented:
“He has multiple cars now.”
Before Bronny had turned pro, LeBron had gifted him a few luxurious vehicles. The rookie has been known to drive a Dodge Challenger SRT and a limited edition Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series P One.
A Tesla Model X, a Jeep Wrangler and a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon are also part of his collection. The car in the video didn’t resemble the vehicles the rookie reportedly has in his garage.
LeBron James and Bronny James made history on Tuesday hours after the Nike ad had come out
LeBron James and his son, Bronny James, had appeared in a handful of preseason games.
They appeared for the first time together in the LA Lakers’ 118-114 loss to the Phoenix Suns on Oct. 6. On Tuesday, they played together for the first time in a regular season game, making them the first father-son duo to accomplish the feat.
The historic moment came with 4:00 remaining in the first half when Bronny was called off the bench by Lakers coach JJ Redick to relieve Rui Hachimura. A few seconds later, Redick also asked four-time champ LeBron to take out Gabe Vincent. The crowd inside Crypto.Com Arena gave them loud applause when Bronny and LeBron took the floor together.
The two played together for roughly two minutes before the rookie was taken out after missing a wide-open 3-pointer. LeBron stayed on to help the Lakers take a 55-42 lead at halftime.
