The protective eventually detail held up and herded the 6-foot-10 big man inside the Ruben Rodriguez Coliseum to de-escalate the situation.

The fan could be seen making a crying gesture at the former Denver Nuggets center. Cousins responded by grabbing at his groin before both exchanged the middle finger gesture. The basketball star shoved his hand at the fan, prompting another to slap Cousins before teammates intervened to reduce the tension.
