A short clip of Paul Pierce reacting to Joel Embiid is trending on social media. The Boston Celtics legend made a weird analogy towards Embiid's minute restrictions.

Whether he was unaware or did it on purpose, Pierce made a sexual statement about how he wanted to taste more of the Sixers' big man. It's obvious he's talking about Embiid's playing time, it was just weird to hear it in that manner.

Paul Pierce's reaction was completely normal at first. He mentioned stuff about Joel Embiid still being young and how he should be utilized more at his age. Pretty normal analyst remarks, however, he made things weird when Pierce said he wanted a "whole load" of Embiid.

What made the clip amusing was when the fan hilariously reacted in both a disgusting and humorous manner.

Is Joel Embiid lacking playing time on the court?

Joel Embiid finally made his return to the Philadelphia 76ers lineup on Monday night. The Sixers went up against the Atlanta Hawks where they found themselves victorious 104-101. Coming from a left mid-foot sprain, Embiid was brilliant on his return. The big man added 30 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, two steals, and two blocks.

Prior to Monday night's game, Embiid had to sit out four games due to injury. Paul Pierce recently called out the Sixers star for not playing significant minutes on the court. The NBA legend missed his target with his analysis as Embiid is playing the most minutes he has ever had in his entire career. As of November 28, the big man has been playing 35.4 minutes per game.

Even assuming that Pierce might've miscalculated the amount of playing time Joel Embiid has, it's clear that the Sixers star is putting in an effort. Embiid has played a lot of minutes to the point where it's taking a toll on his body.

If anything, the Sixers coaching staff needs to consider giving him load management if they want him to last all season long. Especially now that Philly is underhanded without James Harden and Tyrese Maxey. Losing Embiid in the lineup due to minor injuries will hurt their chances of maintaining their spot in the playoffs picture.

As of the time of this writing, the Sixers are sitting as the fifth seed in the East. Thankfully, Philly's bench has been getting the job done even without their stars. However, one might wonder how long they can keep it up. Fortunately, Joel Embiid has finally made his return and is looking to hold down the fort until his co-stars return.
