Watch: LeBron James turns back time to pull off emphatic block against Sacramento Kings

LeBron James remains one of the best players in the NBA despite being in his 20th season and turning 38 years old later this month. James pulled off an emphatic block against the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night.

With around 10 minutes left in the second quarter, De'Aaron Fox drove to the basket and attacked Lonnie Walker IV. However, "The King" provided weak side help and blocked Fox's shot into the stands.

The ball was hit so hard that it went into at least the third row. The LA Lakers were down 32-30 against the Kings during the play, which you can watch below:

However, the Sacramento Kings started to pull away from the LA Lakers later in the second quarter. The Kings had a nine-point lead at halftime and further increased their lead in the third period.

The Lakers tried to mount a comeback in the fourth quarter, but it was not enough. Sacramento earned a 134-120 lead, with Kevin Huerter leading the way with 26 points and five rebounds. Domantas Sabonis had a triple-double, putting up 13 points, 21 boards and 13 assists.

Meanwhile, LeBron James had 31 points, six rebounds and 11 assists for the Lakers. Lonnie Walker IV scored 19 points, while Thomas Bryant posted a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds.

The Kings improved their record to 17-13, which is good for sixth place in the Western Conference standings. On the other hand, the Lakers lost their second straight game and fell to 13th place in the standings with a 13-18 record.

LeBron James calls Sacramento a special place in his heart after loss

LeBron James was disappointed in his news conference following the LA Lakers' loss to the Sacramento Kings. However, James called the city of Sacramento a special place because it was where he made his NBA debut 20 years ago.

"It's always a special meeting even though it's a different arena," James said. "But same feeling, same city. It was the beginning of my career and it would always hold a special place in my heart.

"Being in Sacramento, it was the journey I've been on and having my first ever plane ride to a city for my first game of the regular season. Going against the first set of fans in the NBA as the regular season attendee. It would always have a place, for sure."

LeBron James had a memorable NBA debut against the Sacramento Kings. "The King" had 25 points, six rebounds and nine assists in a 106-92 loss. After 20 years, James was even better on Wednesday night with 31 points, six rebounds and 11 assists.
