Savannah James shared a heartfelt tribute to her husband, LeBron James, as he became the NBA's all-time leading scorer, passing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in the process. Savannah and her kids were in attendance at the Crypto.com Arena to witness James break the record.

The entire James household rushed towards the Lakers superstar the moment he achieved the feat, with the game stopping for a while to honor his accomplishment.

NBA Central shared a pre-recorded message from the James family congratulating him on becoming the top scorer.

"Hi my love, I am here to congratulate you on becoming the NBA's all-time leading scorer," Savannah James said. "I am so proud of you, I witnessed day in and day out the hard work, the sacrifice and the professionalism that you put into this game every day.
"I know how hard you work, I know this was not something you set out to do, but you've done it and you should congratulate yourself and celebrate yourself. You deserve all the flowers, you deserve all the respect and I just want to tell you how proud of you I am. It couldn't be happening to a better, more dedicated person. So, congratulations again, I love you and yeah."
"Congratulations dad. Proud of you for all the work you've done," Bronny said.

Bryce and Zhuri shared similar messages to their father, who broke the record with a fadeaway jumper with 10.9 seconds left in the third quarter.

Savannah James was with family when LeBron made history

Savannah James was sitting courtside as she witnessed her husband make history. She wasn't alone, as her children, Bronny, Bryce and Zhuri, were all in attendance to witness their father become the top scorer in the NBA. LeBron's mother, Gloria, was also present to witness one of her son's greatest moments.

It was reported that James flew his friends and family to watch the Lakers' game against the Thunder. Obviously, the 19-time All-Star came prepared. As he arrived at the arena, he looked poised and focused on breaking Kareem's record.
