Philadelphia 76ers guard Mac McClung injected some life back into the AT&T Slam Dunk contest on Saturday night. With a massive two-handed jam on top of two people, McClung earned himself the first 50 point score of the night as well.

The All-Star weekend is known for several events. Be it the rising stars challenge, the 3-point shootout or the All-Star game itself, the weekend is packed with excitement.

However, the slam dunk contest has always held a special place in the hearts of several fans.

Although recent iterations of the event haven't seen the best outcomes, this year seems to have some potential to be exciting again. Philadelphia 76ers guard Mac McClung turned up the heat with a thunderous two-handed dunk over two people.

To top it off, McClung also tapped the ball on the glass for additional measure to add to the amazement of the dunk itself.

Mac McClung practically set himself apart in the first round of the AT&T Slam Dunk contest. Going up against Trey Murphy III, Jericho Sims and Kenyon Martin Jr., McClung easily led the pack with a perfect score.

With the guard emerging as the player to beat, the remaining contenders will hope to take things to the next level.
