Back in 2019, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Brooke Lopez got involved in a "fight" WWE-style. The hilarious backstage brawl occurred during one of their games while the Milwaukee Bucks were waiting to come out of the dugout. While killing some time, the Bucks goofed around and decided to film a WWE-like moment by recreating a fight scene.

While Giannis Antetokounmpo was casually standing, Brooke Lopez initiated a brawl. The two big men hilariously and accurately reenacted what WWE wrestlers would typically look like during a fight. Lopez ended up losing in that sequence as Antetokounmpo hit Santino Marella's "The Cobra" finisher on him. "The Greek Freak" then won via pinfall.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is a huge WWE fan

Back in Christmas 2017, Giannis Antetokounmpo and his family were in attendance on an episode of Monday Night Raw. Former WWE presenter Charly Caruso got a chance to interview Antetokounmpo backstage before Raw kicked off.

During the interview, Giannis opened up about how excited he was about being in attendance for a live WWE show. Especially considering that he was able to bring his family to Raw. Luckily for them, the Milwaukee Bucks were playing the Chicago Bulls the night after. Raw's Christmas episode in 2017 took place in Chicago.

Growing up as a kid, Giannis Antetokoumpo was a huge fan of wrestling. Prior to his appearance backstage on Raw, he was only ever able to watch one live show. Antetokounmpo also shared that he and his family are huge fans of John Cena.

Their attendance on the show was very timely since Cena made an appearance on Raw that night. Giannis expressed that he wanted to meet the 16-time WWE world champion, however, there aren't any sources about if the two stars ever met.

In the world of sports, it's only natural for athletes to have a nickname that is synonymous with what they're known for. Charly Caruso asked the NBA star what his wrestling name would be if he were to become a WWE superstar. Antetokounmpo gave an appropriate response by saying that he'd run with his existing nickname "The Greek Freak".

Honestly, it wouldn't be surprising at all if Giannis ended up making a guest appearance as a wrestler in the future. Shaquille O'Neal is one of the NBA legends to have participated in a WWE match in the past.

O'Neal had a rivalry with a fellow 7-footer the Big Show. If Antetokounmpo decides to pursue having a match, he could be paired up with Omos and have a titanic clash with each other.
