"We ain't taking no s**t from nobody": Sacramento Kings coach Mike Brown backs his players after end-game brawl against the Bucks

Coach Mike Brown took the opportunity to talk about the scuffle that took place at the end of the Sacramento Kings vs Milwaukee Bucks game. Trey Lyles and Brook Lopez had to be separated after the two got into a heated scuffle that resulted in the Bucks center getting a cut on his left eye.

After the game, Brown was asked about what happened during the final moments of the game. He wasn't sure as to why the situation escalated, but gave assurances that his team wouldn't back down from anyone.

"I don't know what happened, but we ain't taking no s*** from nobody. You can trust me on that," Brown said.

"They [the Warriors] all gon' have each other's back in there. That don't mean we gon' go out there and start something. We not. But we're gon' stand up for ourselves and each other," he added.

The Kings lost to the Bucks, with Giannis Antetokounmpo dropping 46 points. Khris Middleton added 31 points to help his team secure the win. Lopez scored 23 points before getting ejected late in the fourth quarter. In the end, Sacramento's lack of defense proved to be a problem for the squad.

Domantas Sabonis had a great night against the Bucks, posting a triple-double. Sabonis had 23 points, 17 rebounds and 15 assists in 39 minutes. Along with the Lithuanian big, De'Aaron Fox scored 35 points and dished out eight assists. Kevin Huerter added 28 points, shooting 72.7% from the three.

The Sacramento Kings have finally figured things out for the first time after 16 seasons. It's evident that their offseason moves are finally paying off and have made them into one of the best teams in the league, especially on the offensive end of the floor.

But one thing that gets overlooked is the fact that Brown has transformed the Kings into a playoff team. This is his first season coaching the young Kings squad and things have been positive so far.

Last season, Sacramento finished 12th in the Western Conference and missed the postseason for the 16th consecutive season. They were also at the bottom in both offensive and defensive net ratings. Overall, they were a terrible team that needed a change of scenery.

Now, the Kings are the best team offensively. They're boasting an offensive net rating of 118.7, which puts them at the top of the league. Defensively, they haven't made generational changes, and they rank 26th across the entire league with 116.0.

The acquisition of Brown during the offseason has proven to be the best move for them this season. Sacramento are currently in the second spot in the West standings, which could mean that they've broken the streak of terrible seasons. They're finally back in the postseason since the 2005-06 season, thanks to Mike Brown.
