LeBron James has always been known to be a more efficient playmaker rather than an out-and-out scorer. His ability to lead his team to victory by being the floor general has led his squad to success throughout the years. However, he isn't the all-time leading scorer for nothing. When the going gets tough, LBJ has the ability to take over games and dominate offensively.

Now in his 20th season, LeBron James is once again in the playoffs and is doing everything he can to will the LA Lakers to victory over the Denver Nuggets. But before his legendary scoring performance in Game 4 against the Nuggets, one might wonder what James' highest-scoring game is in the playoffs.

Back in 2018, LeBron James carried a much weaker Cleveland Cavaliers to the NBA Finals to go up against Kevin Durant and the Golden State Warriors. While the Cavs ended up getting swept in that series, James put up a legendary 51-point game, nearly rallying Cleveland to victory in Game 1.

For a pass-first guy, LeBron James is arguably the best scorer of all time, considering that he's currently the NBA's all-time leading scorer. But prior to him beating Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's record, James became the all-time leading scorer in the playoffs back in 2017, surpassing Michael Jordan for the record. As of the time of this writing, he currently holds the record with 7,983 points.

While many doubt his ability to score the basketball efficiently, James has proved that he's very much capable of doing so, especially when it came to the playoffs. In 2014, LeBron scored 49 points against the Brooklyn Nets in the second round.

He also had another 49-point outing back in 2009 when he hit the legendary Game 1 buzzer-beater against the Orlando Magic.

With all of those playoff moments in mind, it's no wonder "King James" was able to climb his way to the top of the mountain.
