Scottie Pippen Jr. is currently playing for the LA Lakers and South Bay Lakers. He's signed under a two-way deal, which allows him to play on both the main and G League roster. Pippen Jr.'s contract enables him to play up to 50 NBA regular season games only. The other 32 games should be spent in the G League.

If the Lakers make the playoffs this year, Pippen won't be eligible to play. The Lakers will have to convert his two-way deal into a standard NBA contract if they wish to play him in the postseason. Pippen is expecting to make $502,000 this season.

Scottie Pippen Jr. is the son of Chicago Bulls legend Scottie Pippen. Pippen Jr. is currently playing for both the NBA and G League under the LA Lakers. While the young Scottie was considered to be a good player, he, unfortunately, didn't make the cut for the NBA Draft.

Pippen began playing at an early age and represented Pine Crest and Sierra Canyon during his high school years. He had the opportunity to play with Cassius Stanley, Marvin Bagley III and Kenyon Martin Jr. during that period.

Pippen Jr. averaged 16.3 points, 4.6 assists and 3.6 rebounds per game by the time he was a senior. These results convinced Vanderbilt University to extend him a roster berth.

Scottie Pippen played basketball fairly well in college. He was a skilled shooter, playmaker, and defender who played all three positions efficiently. He averaged 17.5 points, 4.3 assists and 3.1 rebounds in his three-year NCAA basketball career. He was a valuable member of the squad in a supporting position, but his stats fell short of NBA standards.

He was one of the athletes invited to the NBA Draft Combine in Chicago last year, according to Sporting News. While playing in scrimmages at the Combine, Pippen made a positive impression by displaying his versatility as a scorer and his ability to execute effective defensive plays.

The LA Lakers gambled on him despite the fact that his name wasn't included in the mock draft and that he eventually didn't get called in the actual draft. Some may argue that the Lakers got a great deal out of Pippen.
