Skip Bayless has made a lot of enemies over the years, and Charles Barkley appears to be near the top of the list. Not long ago, the NBA Hall of Famer talked about wanting to seriously harm the longtime TV host.

During his time on ESPN and FS1, Bayless has been known to say some outlandish things. He is known to be hard on players at times, which could cause animosity. This is likely why Charles Barkley has such strong feelings toward him.

During an interview on "The Dan Patrick Show," the Phoenix Suns legend talked about killing Skip Bayless on live TV. He said it'd be one of his last wishes if he knew he was dying.

"If I get a disease and I'm gonna die, how about you get Skip Bayless in here and I kill him live on national television.

"Only if I know I'm going to die, I don't wanna be in prison."

Barkley has been known to say some crazy things over the years, but this might be one of his most absurd comments.

Charles Barkley deeply hurt Skip Bayless and his family with outrageous comments

This isn't the first time the former Philadelphia 76er has gone too far with his words. While he may not have been serious, making comments like this is unprofessional for someone of his stature.

After hearing Barkley's interview, Skip Bayless went on his podcast to address the situation. His biggest issue is that he feels the NBA Hall of Famer isn't joking when he says things like this.

"For about 15 years, on all kinds of national TV platforms, Charles Barkley has regularly and relentlessly said he would like to – and I quote – 'kill' me," Bayless said.
"Again and again and again, Charles has said he would like to kill me. And Charles Barkley has not been joking when he has said this. He says it like he means it, like he would very much like to end my life."

Bayless also touched on how these never-ending comments from Barkley have scared his wife over the years:

"My wife, Ernestine, has believed for 15 years that Charles Barkley is nothing but a sick individual. To her, he is just pure evil. That he is depraved, that he is a scumbag."

Barkley, like everyone else, sometimes lets his emotions get the best of him. That being said, he has clearly crossed the line when speaking about someone in his profession like this.
