Throughout his collegiate career, Gonzaga center Drew Timme has been one of the NCAA's top players. At 6-foot-10, 235 pounds, Timme has the frame and strength to battle opponents around the basket.

Timme, an Associated Press preseason All-America first-team selection, is also one of the most skilled players in the entire country. He can give opponents nightmares with his ability on the offensive side of the floor. The Gonzaga Bulldogs have been one of the top programs each year. To no surprise, Timme continues to be an effective player for the No. 14 Bulldogs (5-2).

As a junior last season, Drew Timme averaged 18.4 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game while shooting 58.6% as the West Coast Conference Player of the Year. Gonzaga was one of the country's top teams before its championship run came up short in the NCAA Tournament.

After testing the waters for the 2022 NBA draft, Timme returned to Gonzaga for his senior year. It's been a rough start for the Bulldogs, as they've lost a couple of games (to Texas and Purdue). But Timme continues to impress, and the season is still young.

Gonzaga Bulldogs senior Drew Timme has the tools to be an underrated asset at the next level. While Timme will have to prove himself to be effective on the defensive side of the ball, his skill set is unique.

Timme has the playmaking ability from the center position to be a sensational weapon on the court. He has a strong feel for the game and can be an asset as a versatile big man.

Although Gonzaga is still looking to find its groove this season, Timme has started off strong. Through seven games, Timme is averaging 20.0 ppg, 7.4 rpg, 3.1 apg and 1.1 blocks per game. Timme is also shooting 62.1% from the field and 55.3% from the free-throw line.

Timme should have some intrigue to NBA scouts and personnel. If Timme can prove that his outside shot is coming along, there could be a role for him on a roster at the next level.

For now, Drew Timme and Gonzaga will turn their attention on chasing a national championship. Gonzaga faces the No. 6 Baylor Bears (5-2) on Friday night, which will give the Bulldogs an opportunity for a statement game.
