JJ Redick has been in the spotlight for his hot NBA take on ESPN and has been the focus of the fans as of late. Before we dive in on his recent comments about the league, let's take a look at who his significant other is.

Redick is married to Chelsea Kilgore, who isn't fond of showing her life to the public eye. Like her husband, Kilgore likes to stay fit. Prior to them getting married, she was a professional Pilates instructor. Together with the former NBA player, they share two sons and have been a great supporter of the sharpshooter's career.

Chelsea has been mentioned by Redick on multiple occasions on his podcast, The Old Man and The Three. She has a twin sister named Kylee Jean and they were born in the state of Florida.

Kilgore has an Instagram account, but has kept it private. Additionally, she takes care of Redick's foundation.

JJ Redick and Kendrick Perkins have had their arguments on air for multiple reasons before. However, their most recent argument is more sensitive, as it involves race. Perkins shared that if Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets wins his third MVP award, it's only because of his skin color.

Redick wasn't fond of his colleague's take and took it upon himself to call him out.

"The problem with [First Take], where we create narratives that do not exist in reality... That the white voters that vote on NBA are racist— they favor white people." Redick said.

Perkins didn't back down and defended his take.

"IT'S THE FACT."

It'll be interesting to see the new episodes of First Take when the two former NBA players appear together. They have conflicting takes and are looking to stand by what they say. Perkins doubled down on social media by posting on Twitter.

"Last year I was a coon. This year I’m a racist. Well damn, which one is it? IT’S NEITHER. I call out facts and not afraid to address the elephant in the room." Perk tweeted.
