News surfaced this week that Milwaukee Bucks co-owner Marc Lasry is in serious talks to sell his stake in the franchise. Lasry, who has been a co-owner of the Bucks since purchasing his stake in 2014 for a whopping $550 million, has been married to Cathy Lasry.

While she hasn't been involved with the Milwaukee Bucks, her husband's potential sale of his stake recently has her in the news.

The couple have five children together, and from the sounds of things, she's made quite the name for herself. According to reports, she is a member of the Clark University Board of Trustees, as well as the Trevor Day School, and Say Yes Education Inc boards.

Of the Lasry’s children, two names stand out. As it turns out, Lasry’s husband isn’t the only one involved in the NBA in their family. According to reports, their son Alex, who worked in the White House during former United States President Barack Obama’s administration, is a co-owner of the Milwaukee Bucks. In addition, his daughter Emma Lasry has reportedly pursued music.

Marc Lasry has found himself in quite a few headlines this week as more information continues to surface in regard to the potential sale of his share of the Bucks. In fact, prior to Mat Ishbiapurchasing the Phoenix Suns, he was in talks to buy Lasry’s share of the Milwaukee Bucks.

According to reports, Lasry isn’t 100% set on selling his share, but is open if there’s a high valuation. Whether or not that translates into a deal remains to be seen. Should the Bucks managed to win another NBA title, the team’s $2.3 billion valuation would likely skyrocket.

As NBA commissioner Adam Silver pointed out last month to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, for owners who don’t live in-state, the role is an extremely taxing one. Living out of market makes it so that owners have to dedicate quite a bit of personal time to travel. ““I’d say for all of the owners that are involved with the Bucks they spend an enormous amount of time on planes going back and forth from their principal residences to Milwaukee. It requires ongoing investment.” At the time, the way Silver saw things, there was nothing unusual happening in regard to Lasry exploring his options.
