Malik Beasley is one of the most talented shooters in the NBA. Unfortunately, he hasn't been making a lot of shots since getting traded to the LA Lakers last February.

The 6-foot-4 guard was supposed to make the Lakers dangerous from 3-point range. However, he's only converted 38.1% of his total shots so far in LA, including 34.9% from long range.

Beasley recently celebrated his son's birthday on Instagram. However, Lakers fans did not let him celebrate it properly as they posted a lot of negative comments on the post. The 26-year-old guard reacted to this by posting a comment about the fans.

Malik Beasley was recently criticized by Lakers fans

Malik Beasley is capable of converting 3-point shots at around 40%, which hasn't been the case so far. However, he likely needs more time to get used to his new team and should be better in the playoffs.

Unfortunately, many fans don't understand this, which is why they've posted negative comments on Malik's birthday post on Instagram. The Lakers guard responded to them, promising that he would get better.

Basketball fans aren't always nice, and Lakers fans don't like it when their players don't perform well. They've criticized many of their players in the past, and Malik Beasley is no exception.

However, many other NBA fans believe that the LA Lakers have the worst fanbase ever.

Some Twitter users believe that it's LeBron James fans who talk bad about other players.

Others, however, don't think this is anything new. Lakers fans have a long history of attacking their players, which is why the latest incident comes as no surprise.

Some NBA fans took it a step further, calling Lakers fans the worst fanbase in all sports.

A couple of Lakers fans shared their thoughts as well. However, it doesn't appear that they care much about Beasley, who has a team option on his contract for the 2023-24 season.

Fans mostly blamed Beasley's defense as they consider him a liability on the court.

Others, however, think that some fans have taken it too far. While almost every fanbase gets frustrated with their favorite team, going after a player's family is not acceptable.

The Lakers suffered a heartbreaking loss against the Chicago Bulls on Sunday. Malik Beasley came off the bench once again, scoring 18 points on 6-for-14 shooting. He also added three rebounds and two assists.
