Cam’ron fires back at Mario Chalmers calling him ‘heroin addict’

Famed rapper Cam'ron wasn't too happy recently when LeBron James' former Miami Heat teammate Mario Chalmers took aim at 'King James'. According to Chalmers, who spoke on a podcast earlier in the month, nobody feared playing LeBron James.

Unsurprisingly, the take drew quite a bit of criticism around the league, given that James has won four NBA championships. Former players like JJ Redick were quick to jump in and defend James, while rappers Cam'ron and Ma$e decided to go on the offensive.

Cam'ron stated nobody was scared to face Chalmers. That led to a challenge from the Chicago legend, who said he could beat the former NBA guard on 10-days notice. Now, in a recently released video, Chalmers can be seen in a dark room taking verbal shots at the rapper. Cam'ron responded with some brutal allegations.

"Where you been? Where the fuck you been? Talking about 'where you been.' Where you at now, n***a? It's dark, and your eyes are dilated. Wasn't that blue magic, bro. I know n***as on that. I stand by it. I guarantee it. That's what you on, bro. And bigger than basketball, I'm concerned, man, " Cam'ron said.

The rapper continued:

"I know life threw you a few curveballs, but, yo, you can't start that s**t, bro, and if we play, you gotta take a drug test. I'm like Judge Mathis with that heroin s**t. I know a heroin addict when I see one. Yo, bro, I'm concerned, and if we play, you have to take a mandatory drug test before, during, and after the game."

You can see his comments, as well as Chalmers' comments, in the video above.

What have other NBA veterans said about Mario Chalmers' LeBron James claims that sparked Cam'ron's challenge?

Cam'ron wasn't the only one to take offense to Mario Chalmers' comments slandering LeBron James. As a former teammate of James', Chalmers should know better than anyone how many times King James crushed an opponents' dreams in a big moment.

Whether it was his historic 3-1 comeback against the Golden State Warriors or countless other moments, James has instilled fear in the hearts of many opponents. As previously mentioned, JJ Redick was one of the first to call Chalmers out for his comments. During an ESPN Appearance, Redick fired back at Chalmers, saying:

“How much pain do you think he [LeBron James] has caused other players that have lost to him in the playoffs? I have the luxury because I get to talk to some oldheads on my podcast…there is some pain, some emotional pain inflicted by those losses.”

Another former teammate of LeBron James, Tristan Thompson, also chimed in, slamming the former guard's remarks. During a recent episode of The Draymond Green Show, Thompson fired back at Chalmers.

“That shit pissed me off, man. How can you say that about a guy you went to war with, who believed in you, nand you’re going to come and say ‘No one fears LeBron?’ This is the best player you’ve ever been on the court with.”
“Guys be on some sucker shit. I don’t like that kind of stuff.”

Do you think Cam'ron and Chalmers will ever settle things on the court?
