New York Knicks forward Josh Hart posted on X (formerly Twitter) regarding the arrival of the fall, asking if it was the beginning of "Hot Apple Cider Season". While this post itself had nothing to do with the Knicks, several fans quickly make hilarious connections to the team.
Many tweets included jokes, especially relating to the fact that starting center Mitchell Robinson will miss the beginning of the 2024-25 season. Others kept the joke going with similarly themed replies.

Some of the responses to Hart's tweet kept up with the "season" theme, saying that it's the season for him to get used to a different role.

The Knicks are facing some issues in the big man department due to injuries. Mitchell Robinson, who is projected to be the starting center for the team once the 2024-25 campaign kicks off, will not be available.
He is still rehabilitating from an ankle injury and is expected to return by December or January, according to Ian Begley.
Power Forward Julius Randle, who missed nearly the entire latter half of last season, including the Playoffs, also remains questionable. There is still no timetable for his return.
These injuries leave Josh Hart as the most likely person to fill the holes on the Knicks starting lineup.
Josh Hart led the New York Knicks in rebounding amidst team's injury woes last season
Josh Hart has made a name for himself as a gritty player who is not afraid to get in the mix with bigger opponents despite being only listed at 6-foot-4.
His fearlessnes in battling for the rebound was mosts evident last season, when he averaged 8.3 rebounds for the Knicks. Statistically, it wasn't the highest on the team. Julius Randle and Mitchell Robinson were still the top rebounders, with averages of 9.2 and 8.5 boards, respectively.
However, with them both of them being out, the rebounding responsibilities they left behind were shouldered by Hart. He and Isaiah Hartenstein both averaged 8.3 boards per game but with Hartenstein now being a member of the OKC Thunder, the Knicks have a need for true centers.
They have Precious Achiuwa and Jericho Sims on the roster but Hart will definitely see more minutes than both of them. This is due to the fact that Hart is more versatile.
Aside from his impressive rebounding abilities, he can also help space the floor. On the other side of the floor, he is a solid perimeter defender who can make life difficult for scorers.
