Predicting the NBA All-Star game roster for 2018-19 Season

The King walks into the starting lineup as usual. LeBron is averaging 27.7 points, 7.7 rebounds and 7 assists for a Lakers squad which sits pretty at 4th in the West.

LeBron led all vote-getters last season with 2.6 million votes and that figure won't exactly go down, now that he's in LA. He's in all likelihood going to be team captain again.

Kevin Durant

Very quietly, Kevin Durant is having one of the better years of his career. KD is averaging 28.8 points, which is second only to his scoring average when he won MVP, while also setting career highs in assists at 6.2 a game. Like LeBron, KD walks into the team, just like he has the last nine years.

Anthony Davis

The Pelicans might be struggling but the Brow continues to put in superhuman performances. Davis is averaging 28 points, 12.4 rebounds, 4.7 assists, and 2.8 blocks on the season.

The only reason AD might miss out on starting this time around might be what I said before, that is the team record, but I think he'll still end up starting.

Nikola Jokic

The Joker is finally going to make his All-Star debut this season and it's richly deserved. Jokic is the main reason why the Nuggets are currently the top seed in the West and his case has only gotten stronger off late.

With the Nuggets ravaged by injuries, Jokic has taken over the scoring burden and helped the Nuggets defeat the likes of Toronto and OKC despite all the injury issues. For the season, he's averaging 17.7 points, 9.9 rebounds and 7.5 assists. If someone is going to take AD's starting spot, it will be Jokic.

Tobias Harris

Los Angeles Clippers v Phoenix Suns

The biggest surprise story this season has been Tobias Harris. The 8th year forward is having a career year for the Clippers, averaging 21.5 points and 8.2 rebounds. He recently won Western Conference Player of the Month and with the Clippers very much in playoff contention, expect Harris to be rewarded with his first All-Star game appearance.

There is a slight worry regarding his spot on the list considering that the Clippers are in the midst of a slump and should it continue, Harris might miss out to the likes of Karl-Anthony Towns.

Paul George

Another guy having a career year, PG13 has played at a very high level this year. He's set career highs across the board which is remarkable and deserves some MVP consideration.

He's probably been OKC's best player this season and the main reason why they are the 3rd seed in the West. It's a pity that despite performances like these, George still won't even sniff a starting spot in the game.
