Kyrie Irving

Kyrie Irving is in all likelihood going to be a starter again this season. He and the Celtics have underperformed to an extent, as Kyrie is averaging 22 Points per game and the Celtics are currently only the 5th seed.

Still, with fan voting playing such a big part, expect Kyrie to snatch one of the starting spots in the backcourt.

Kemba Walker

Kemba Walker wants a big deal this offseason and boy is he playing his tail off for it. Walker is averaging career highs in points (24.9), rebounds (4.5), assists (6.3) and is carrying the Hornets who would probably be the worst team in the league without him.

While I'm not sure if Kemba would start the game, but he's definitely making the roster for the third straight season.

Ben Simmons

Ben Simmons is having an eerily similar season to the one he had last year, which might lead to the question on whether he deserves to be an All-Star this year, considering he wasn't last year.

The answer is quite simply yes. Simmons should have made the roster last year over Goran Dragic and he will make it this year. He's averaging 15.9 points, 9 rebounds and 7.9 assists, despite his usage rate dropping thanks to Jimmy Butler's arrival.

Kyle Lowry

Kyle Lowry has seen his scoring role diminish greatly with the Raptors this season, but that's only because he's facilitating at the highest level.

Lowry is tied with Westbrook at the top in assists per game at 10 and along with Kawhi Leonard has been the reason why the Raptors have been so impressive this season. Lowry is probably the most likely candidate to join Kyrie as the starting backcourt for the All-Star game.

Victor Oladipo

It's safe to say that Oladipo has shown that last season wasn't just a flash in the pan. Despite being hampered by injuries this season, Oladipo has managed to put up almost 21 points a game, while upping his assists and rebounds from last season.

The Pacers as a whole have also kicked on from last season and are currently the 3rd seed in the East. A combination of all of this means Oladipo is a lock for his 2nd straight All-Star appearance.
