Everybody knows the famed Golden State Warriors 2015-16 season, where they broke the Chicago Bulls' 73-10 record. Their league domination continued as they came so close to winning a second consecutive NBA title against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers, but the King was not having it.

Stephen Curry's impressive run earned him his second consecutive MVP award by unanimous vote in the 2015-16 season. With that, he became the first NBA player to win an MVP award while securing all the votes.

Sometimes it is difficult to comprehend just how phenomenal Stephen Curry's 2015-16 was. It could go down in history as one of the best individual performances in a season. By winning the MVP with a unanimous vote, it is an indication that many others believed the same.

By the numbers, Stephen Curry led the league in points (30.1), steals (2.1), and free-throw shooting percentage (.908). He ended the series with a three-point percentage of .454 after knocking down 402 three-pointers in 886 attempts.

The closest a player has come to reaching that milestone is James Harden's 378 three-pointers made in the 2018-19 season. To put into perspective how much of a sharpshooter Stephen Curry is, Harden managed to make 378 three-pointers after 1028 attempts.

Outside of The Beard's brilliance, Curry is the only other NBA player that has scored 300+ 3's in a season, and he did so on three other occasions.
