Bojan Bogdanovic has been a hot trade piece in the NBA for a while now. The LA Lakers are one of the teams who have had their eyes on the Croatian player for quite some time.

However, it appears that the Detroit Pistons aren't willing to part ways with Bogdanovic anytime soon, even if it involves an unprotected first-round pick in the 2023 NBA Draft.

The Pistons are currently sitting at the bottom of the Eastern Conference this season with a 13-39 record, and are practically tied with their Western Conference rivals, the Houston Rockets, who have a similar record (13-38).

The two teams are likely to acquire either Victor Wembanyama or Scoot Henderson in the draft. Unfortunately, they might miss out without that unprotected pick.

Bojan Bogdanovic is a power forward currently playing for the Detroit Pistons. Starting out his NBA career, he was just another role player. In the 2017-18 season, he took his game to the next level and averaged over 40% from behind the arc.

Since that moment in his career, Bojan Bogdanovic has steadily established himself as one of the best shooters in the league.

His best shooting season was in 2018-19, when he shot 49.7% from the field and 42.5% from 3-point land.

The following season, he made his debut with the Utah Jazz. It was the first season he averaged at least 20 points per game. He ended up playing with the Jazz for three total seasons and during his time there, he averaged 18.4 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game. This led to him becoming a valuable player that teams wanted to acquire.

Now playing for the Detroit Pistons, Bojan Bogdanovic is officially the star of the team. Looking at his stats today, one might consider this year to be his best season yet.

The Croatian is currently averaging 21.4 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.7 assists. Given how efficient Bogdanovic has been for the Pistons, they will not be keen on letting him go.
