International Basketball Federation’s (FIBA) EuroBasket 2013 has signed a sponsorship deal with Samsung in Slovenia.
According to reports by Sportspromedia, Samsung’s galaxy S4 and Galaxy tablets would be the official mobile phone and official tablet of EuroBasket 2013, under this deal.
FIBA EuroBasket 2013′s 38th edition will be held from 4th to 22nd September and across five venues including the Tivoli Arena in Ljubljana and the Podmežakla Arena in Jesenice.

The vice president of branding for Samsung Electronics Europe, Stephen Taylor, said, “Samsung is proud to be supporting EuroBasket 2013. We have a strong presence in Slovenia and are pleased to support such an important event for the country.”
Alex Kriznar, the director of EuroBasket 2013 added, “Every new sponsorship gives an added value to the project, especially if the importance of the event is recognised by a company as big and as recognisable as our new partner Samsung.”
