After their final preparation match at home against Puerto Rico, Team USA announced their final list of the squad for the FIBA Basketball World Cup, scheduled to start from 30th August 2014 in Spain.
Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose made a comeback in the team while Damian Lillard, Kyle Korver, Chandler Parsons and Gordon Hayward failed to make the cut. Despite 2010 world championship MVP Kevin Durant’s withdrawal from the team, USA remains the favorite to lift the world cup.
