Steve Nash is confident Los Angeles Lakers teammate Kobe Bryant will make a speedy recovery from his torn Achilles.

Bryant suffered the injury on April 13th against the Golden State Warriors, and had to sit out playoffs.

“If I were putting my money on it, I would say the sky’s the limit. As we know, he’s determined and focused as is out there. He’ll find a way to exceed everyone’s expectations,” said the the 17-year pro on Time Warner Cable Sportsnets.

Bryant underwent surgery with a projected six-month recovery, and yet Nash remains hopeful that he can return in November or December. Lakers take on the Miami Heat on Christmas Day, and it would indeed be a great return date for the five-time NBA champion.
