The Boston Celtics are one of the best teams in the NBA. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown are a major reason why. They dominate on both ends of the floor and help make their teammates better.

The Celtics started last season off slow. They hovered around the .500 mark for the first 30 games. Many fans were questioning the chemistry between Tatum and Brown. Can they co-exist together on a winning team?

The Celtics found their groove and became a dominant force in the Eastern Conference. They reached the NBA Finals, but lost to the Golden State Warriors in six games. Although they didn't win the championship, the season was still a huge success. Tatum and Brown have played a huge role in developing that winning culture.

New Orleans Pelicans guard CJ McCollum spoke about the Celtics duo on a recent episode of "The CJ McCollum Show." He provided a breakdown of what Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown are doing as a tandem:

"I think they've figured out how to coexist together. They're not fighting each other for shots. They're making the extra pass to each other. And I think they're celebrating one another's success and that's the sign of a team that could continue to build together.
"Obviously, a lot of people said they got to split up. JB needs his own team. They can't play together, they're two big wings, and they're both ball dominant.
"They figured out how to both remain themselves while empowering each other and that's very hard to do. Usually, someone has to take a step back. I think Jaylen Browns' alpha mentality is helpful. ... [He's] still able to impact the game even when Jayson Tatum has it rolling."

Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown are one of the NBA's best duos

What Jaylen Brown has been able to do while Jayson Tatum is putting up MVP numbers is nothing short of impressive. They are clearly one of the best duos in the NBA. It would be tough to argue otherwise.

Jayson Tatum is averaging 31.1 points and shooting 48.1% from the field. Many believe he would win the MVP Award if the season ended today. Jaylen Brown has also put up big numbers, averaging 25.1 points and shooting 48.9% from the field in 14 games.

The Celtics are first in the Eastern Conference with a 12-3 record. They've done this without Robert Williams, who is an important part of their frontcourt. He hasn't played a game since undergoing knee surgery in September.

It will be interesting to see if they can reach the NBA Finals. This team has shown that they have more than enough depth on their roster to get the job done.
