A surprise option for Bryn Forbes in free agency could be the Miami Heat. In the Bucks' 4-0 sweep of the Heat in this year's playoffs, the shooting guard was the perfect example of the kind of shooting consistency that his opponent's missed this season.

Forbes averaged 15 points per game and had a +/- of 12.5. He finished games two and four with 22 points and shot at 48.5% from downtown during the series. While the Miami Heat have shooters of their own in Duncan Robinson and Tyler Herro, both could be used as trading chips to land a bigger star in the offseason.

Therefore, Forbes' cheaper contract suddenly becomes inviting as a knockdown scorer to bring off the bench or even to utilize as a starter.

#1 New York Knicks

After making their long-awaited return to the playoffs this year, the New York Knicks are ready to continue their development in the offseason and have the biggest projected cap space of any team in the NBA.

Although they will look to use most of it on one or two stars that can help them be more competitive in the postseason, the Knicks struggled on offense all year and would benefit from having another reliable option on a cheap contract.

The Knicks have several free agents of their own this summer, including Reggie Bullock and Frank Ntikilina, both of whom's roster spot Bryn Forbes could take. Now is the prime time to join the New York franchise whose trajectory only looks to be going in one direction.

They need experience and depth in their backcourt, particularly if Derrick Rose leaves. Forbes not only shot at a career-high rate from three but from the field too and had a personal best offensive rating of 119.
