Dave Bing was a 7-time NBA All-Star, Rookie of the year in 1967, 2-time All-NBA First Team, scoring champion of 1968 season. In his 12 seasons in the NBA, he averaged 20.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, 6.0 assists per game.
In the final game of his career, playing for Boston Celtics, Dave Bing scored 24 points in a win against the Buffalo Braves. The Celtics finished the season 32-50 and failed to make it to the playoffs.
