It is one thing to score a three-pointer consistently in the regular season, but to keep that same consistency in the heat of the playoffs? That is a whole different ball game, literally.

It is hard to keep the Splash Brothers out of a list that involves three-pointers, but one thing this list clearly shows is that Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry aren't the only lethal snipers in the NBA Post-Season.

Let us take a look at the players with the most 3s in a single playoff game

Vince Carter - 9 Threes

Along with being Mr. Dunk, Vince has also been lowkey Mr. Outside his whole career. VC has made 2106 threes so far as his incredible NBA days come to an end.

Vince entered elite company on May 11th, 2001 where the Toronto Raptors faced the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 3 of the Eastern Semis.

Vince hit 9 threes on 69% shooting from deep. His consistency from range last night resulted in a crushing blowout W for the Raptors.

While Vince is one of the dunking geniuses, jury's still out on his sniping ability. But you cannot deny that Vince made his mark on the night of May 11th 2001.

Ray Allen - 9 Threes

If shooting were an art, Ray Allen would be the virtuoso of it. And it all lies in his near-perfect shooting form which he spent hours on perfecting.

You don't lead the All-Time 3-PT FGM list by not putting in the work, and Ray-Ray made it clear to the media and press how important work ethic was to him.

Ray matched the record set by Vince Carter just one month later when he faced the 76ers in Eastern Conference Finals on June 1st, 2001. Him and the Bucks torched the sixers, all thanks to Ray and his 9 three-pointers made in the game.

But Ray wasn't done just yet, as he rained 9 threes for the second time in his career when he faced the Bulls on 30th April, 2009. Ray's consistency from deep always spoke volumes about his shooting from range.

Jason Terry - 9 Threes

2011 was the year for the Mavericks as it was the one with their great championship run. Everybody had a role in it and J.T. was no stranger to that.

Mavericks showed up to play winning the first two in hostile territory of the Lakers and the next one at home as well in the Western Conference Semifinals. It is in Game 4 where Mavericks got ready to deploy the final blow to sweep the Lakers.

On May 8th, 2011 Jason Terry became a 3-PT god as he nailed 9 threes on just 10 attempts making it a whopping 90% from deep for the night. That night J.T. solidified his standing among the great single game playoff leaders for 3-PT FGM.

Stephen Curry - 9 Threes

The like father like son saying fits perfectly in Steph's case as he is mimicking his father Dell Curry in being the greatest shooter of his era. Only thing is, Chef is shooting way better then his dad which can be called a mix of genes and immense hard work.

Not so long ago, Curry set the record for the most made 3s in a regular season game by making an enormous 13 and only missing just 4.

It was only obvious that this killer instinct would lead to a 3-PT barrage in the post season as well and that is exactly what happened. In Game 2 of 2018 NBA Finals, Curry dropped 9 threes in 17 attempts to protect the home court advantage. Isn't it a bit scary that this is what we have come to expect from him now?

Klay Thompson - 11 Threes

NBA fans all over the world want to shoot like curry but try to imitate Klay's near perfect jumpshot to get there. From scoring 37 in a single quarter to raining down 3s in the post season, Klay has done it all to prove his worth.

It was the Western Conference Finals of 2016 where the Warriors weren't doing so hot and Klay did exactly what was expected out of him, showing up to play. Klay hit a staggering 11 threes in Game 6 to force a Game 7 in Oakland, creating the record for the most 3s in a single playoff game.

Not so long ago, Klay tried to imitate this barrage in the 2018 West Finals where he came very close in Game 6 by dropping 9 straight bombs from 3-PT land. Makes you wonder that there really is something about the big games that bring out the best in Klay Thompson.
