With his first three-pointer in the game against the Chicago Bulls, Stephen Curry breached the 2,500 mark in his illustrious NBA career,.ending the night with a career tally of 2,504 3P made.

Curry is often regarded as the greatest shooter in NBA history, and one can understand why. He has attempted only 5,759 three-pointers in his 12-year NBA career for an efficiency of 43% (8.2 attempts per game in his career).

Additionally, Curry has led the NBA in three-pointers made in a season on five occasions. In the 2015-16 NBA season, he made 402 three-pointers, the most in a single season in the competition's history.

Curry's career 3P percentage is the sixth-best in NBA history and the best among any player in this list.

Reggie Miller was the NBA's premier three-point shooter in the 1990s. Before Ray Allen took his throne, Miller was the go-to name in three-point shooting.

It is difficult to find a player who has carried a franchise by just shooting the basketball at an extreme efficiency. Miller made 2,560 three-pointers in his illustrious NBA career and was incredibly clutch for the Indiana Pacers.

Of course, Miller's era was very different. He averaged 4.7 attempts from three in his career while Steph Curry, for example, averages 3.6 three-pointers per game.

Miller led the NBA in three-pointers made in a season on two occasions and made at least 200 threes. He made 40% of his three-point shots, and his 6,486 attempts from the three is the second-best in NBA history.

Ray Allen was a great player who shot the ball fabulously from the three-point line. He is the all-time leader in three-pointers made (2,973) and attempted (7,429) in NBA history.

Allen shot 40% from the three-point line (5.7 attempts per game). He led the NBA in three-pointers made in a season on three occasions, and his 269 3P made in the 2005-06 NBA season were an NBA record before Steph Curry surpassed him.

Allen's three-point shooting helped him win two NBA titles. His season-saving three-pointer against the San Antonio Spurs in game six of the 2013 NBA Finals will always be remembered by the Miami Heat and many basketball fans.
