Game Preview

In a huge Western Conference matchup, the Portland Trail Blazers will tonight take on the in-form Utah Jazz. Both teams are currently challenging for a playoff spot in the incredibly competitive West, and just two games currently separate the teams.

The Trail Blazers currently sit in fourth with a 28-19 record, while the Jazz are three spots behind thanks to their 26-21 record. Portland has won seven of their last ten games, however, the Jazz are currently enjoying a great run of their own. The team has won six games in a row, and the Jazz have been one of the NBA's best teams since the turn of the year.

Tonight's game at Vivint Smart Home Arena will also see a number of the NBA's most in-form stars face off. Donovan Mitchell has regained the form that he showed during his rookie year, and the 21-year-old has scored at least 24 points in each of his last eight games. Meanwhile, for the Trail Blazers, Damian Lillard is currently enjoying the best season of his career and last week dropped 35 points on the Sacramento Kings.

Trail Blazers Team News

Maurice Harkless is once again available for selection after missing much of January with a knee injury. The 25-year-old played for 21 minutes during the Blazers most recent game against the New Orleans Pelicans, and the small forward is likely to start for a second consecutive game.

Harkless' return leaves the Trail Blazers with a fully fit roster, although Terry Stotts is likely to field the same starting lineup that featured during Portland's 128-112 win against the Pelicans.

Predicted Portland Trail Blazers starting line-up: Al Farouq Aminu (F), Maurice Harkless (F), Jusuf Nurkic (C), Damian Lillard (G), C.J. McCollum (G)
